Maintain a healthy indoor environment with an energy efficient adiabatic humidification system.
Health issues associated with low RH and additive chemicals entering the air from steam humidification systems are only a few reasons why you should upgrade with MeeFog.
While most people consider proper humidification a matter of comfort, it also plays a key factor in maintaining health. The human respiratory system requires and creates warm, saturated air in the lungs and airways. Low humidity environments put a strain on this system and inhibit proper lung function. Additionally, studies have shown that maintaining RH levels above 40% inhibit the spread and viability of airborne virus. Low RH levels can lead to slow recoveries and even hospital acquired infections.
Recently, ASHRAE Standard 170-2013 Addendum m approved the use of energy efficient high-pressure fogging systems for hospital humidification.
The fogging process is very simple and straightforward. First the water supply is rigorously purified and sterilized, then the water is pressurized to 1,000 psi via the MeeFog pump skid. The water is then fed to MeeFog nozzles, which inject pure water fog into the air stream. The system allows you to accurately control humidity to a specified RH%.
Steam humidification can introduce chemical contaminants into the air stream and also uses a lot of energy. The MeeFog system offers you a solution to improve the indoor air quality, saving energy and money.
