Gradually losing output since going commercial in 2003, La Paloma Generating Station in California needed an efficient way to control output in response to calls from the dispatcher and fluctuating ambient temperature. Instead of upgrading turbine internals to achieve more power, La Paloma Generating Company saved millions and used a MeeFog inlet cooling system to give the facility eleven stages of control to fine tune power output.
