Large open spaces and large numbers of people traversing
the area make for efficiency issues that can be addressed
with an energy conserving MeeFog humidification system.
With proper humidity, building temperatures can be
lowered without changing the comfort levels. Achieving
an ideal range of temperature and humidity will help
deal with low humidity conditions that may cause discomfort,
for instance, coughs and dry skin are associated with
low Relative Humidity (RH).
Mee Industries helps combat low relative humidity
health issues in facilities by introducing pure water
humidification into the Air Handling Unit (AHU). Electronic
controls along with a series of high pressure pumps,
variable frequency drives, and staged nozzles ensure
humidity is maintained between a range of 30% to 50%
as recommended by the CDC.
MeeFog systems do not require compressed air
or steam. Direct pressure means few moving parts (none
in the air handler). The energy consumed is a small
fraction of other technologies, such as compressed
air, ultra-sonic, or steam systems. Savings in running
costs and low maintenance routines means that a MeeFog
system will typically pay for itself within one year.
